Dr. Ntsiki Mashiya

Dr. Nontsikelelo Tshayingca- Mashiya ( Dr Ntsiki ) is a qualified Health Professional in the fields of Health Sciences, Medical Informatics and Psychology . She obtained her Master of Science (MSc) Degree in Medical and Health Informatics from the University of Winchester, in the United Kingdom. She also holds a PhD in Public Management with specialization in Public Policy Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation from the University of Fort Hare in the
Republic of South Africa. She obtained her junior degrees from the Universities in South Africa and in the United Kingdom.

Dr. Ntsiki has extensive experience in business management and fund-raising and is a founder of the Holistic Healing & Health Renewal Lifestyle Clinics.

Deputy President Africa

She was appointed as a global peace ambassador by the Universal Peace Federation which is part of the United Nations in 2019. Dr Ntsiki has served as the President for Africa at High Tower Petroleum company from June 2018 to June 2022. Dr. Ntsiki was also appointed by JM Busha 54 Africa Organization as the Board Chairperson in 2020 until to date. JM Busha 54 Africa is a Charity Organization that is funding Organizations for youth, women and the vulnerable in Africa. Dr Ntsiki is currently a trustee in the Premier Hotels Employees trust Since August 2017. She is a hardworking, dedicated woman and a thought leader in the areas of business development , strategy and a respected woman activist known for her contribution in development and support of women entrepreneurs. She has served and is still serving e of the boards in South Africa and globally listed below and she plays a significant role in technical support, marketing and fund raising for most of the boards she serves in.
• Institute for Future of Work Advisory Board - June 2022 to Current
• Just Righteousness Foundation – 2018 to current;
• Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) – 2011 to 2013;
• Chairperson for JM Busha 54 African Countries Board - 2018 to 2021;
• South African Monitoring and Evaluation Association (SAMEA) EC Chapter
Chairperson – 2009 and
• Office of the Premier, Eastern Cape, Chairperson for Risk Management
Committee – 2013 to 2015.

 

Dr. Ntsiki worked for more than 7 years in a portfolio of a Deputy Director General (DDG) for Monitoring and Evaluation at the Presidency. She has also led Policy formulation, Planning Monitoring and Evaluation. She has worked with Countries like Ghana, Cuba, and Canada through the Programmes of Government to design, benchmark and exchange and knowledge sharing Policy, Programme Monitoring and Evaluation.

 

She was trained by the UK Institute in P3 Programme for successful Programme Monitoring. Dr Ntsiki also had a stint as the Head of Department in Public Works in the Eastern Cape and during her tenure the department received a clean audit. Dr. Ntsiki‘s exceptional leadership capability coupled with extensive management experience, governance and financial administration which has been evidenced by her appointment in the two highest Offices in the Country, the office of the Premier and the Department of Performance Monitoring & Evaluation in the Presidency. She has also served as the Policy advisor for South Africa in the United Nations office of status of Women, children and people with disability.
